Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 October 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Unshakeable app (“the app”), provided by Unite Martial Arts LLP, trading as Unite Martial Arts (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use the app
You must be 18 or over to use the app and to take out a membership.
2. What the app is — and what it is not
Unshakeable provides personal-safety awareness and confidence training, together with optional safety tools. It is about awareness, confidence and getting yourself to safety — it is not fighting or self-defence combat training, and it does not guarantee your safety in any situation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
The SOS feature and trip tracker are support tools only. They do not replace the emergency services. In an emergency, always call 999 (or your local emergency number). We cannot guarantee that an alert or location will be delivered, received or acted upon — delivery depends on your device, your signal, your contacts’ devices and third-party networks outside our control. Never rely on the app as your only means of getting help.
The safety score and lessons are general educational guidance, not personal or professional advice about your specific circumstances.
3. Your account and trusted contacts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you add. Only add someone as a trusted contact if they have agreed to it, as they will receive your alerts and location when you use those features.
4. Membership and subscriptions
-
How it’s sold: the Unshakeables membership is an auto-renewing monthly subscription, purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
-
Founding price: the £6.99/month founding-member price applies as described in the app at the time you join. Any price shown is in the currency and amount set in the App Store.
-
Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
-
Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel at any time in your Apple ID / App Store account settings. We do not process cancellations directly — they are handled by Apple.
-
Refunds: refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under their terms.
If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Members’ content (such as the course and community) is available only while your membership is active.
5. Community rules
The members’ community is a supportive space for women. When you post, you agree to:
-
Be respectful and kind. No harassment, abuse, hate or threats.
-
Keep others’ information private. Do not share another member’s details or posts outside the community.
-
Not post anything unlawful, misleading, or that promotes violence.
-
Not use the community to advertise or sell.
You can report any post and block another member, which hides their posts from you. You own what you post, but you grant us permission to display it within the app. We may remove content, suspend community access, or suspend accounts that break these rules, to keep the community safe.
6. Intellectual property
The videos, lessons, text and branding in the app are ours (or licensed to us) and are for your personal, non-commercial use only. Please do not copy, share, record or redistribute the content outside the app.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, the app is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any harm, loss or injury arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its safety features, or from any failure of an alert or location to be delivered or acted upon. The app is a support, not a guarantee of safety.
8. Changes and ending access
We may update the app and these terms from time to time; we will post any new version here with an updated date. We may suspend or withdraw the app, or your access, where we reasonably need to.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
